Some of you got this e-mail update from us, but I am having *issues* with my service provider, and a lot of you haven't gotten it yet.  Sew, since some of this is time sensitive, I am posting it here and with a link to it on our Facebook page.  Have a marvelous Monday!!

It's time for our annual Fall Fabric Frenzy Sale! This sale is always a favorite with all of us here @ Fab-Etc. Not only do we get to see lots of you take advantage of our sale prices for 3 days, but we also have a food drive. Last year we took nearly 500 pounds of groceries to our local food bank. Here’s the scoop:

ALL of the fabric (excluding Clearance and other markdowns) is 25% off
As alway, minimum cut 1/8 yard

PLUS….if you bring a non-perishable donation, we'll give you a coupon to use during those 3 days only for 30% off one item of your choice!
(Limit one coupon/customer during the 3 day period.)

Shop Thursday, Nov. 6th from 10 am to 8 pm
Regular hours of 10-6 Friday and Saturday.

The sale does include pre-cuts (charm packs, fat quarters, jelly rolls, etc) but it does not include kits or clearance items.

Hope to see lots of you...it's a great time to get a start on those holiday gift projects!
(Sorry, no pre-sales.)

Sew, what else is happening around here?

This month’s Nifty Notion is a booklet entitled *No Math Quilt Charts & Formulas*. This little book is small enough to fit in your purse, and holds a wealth of information ~ like when you are staring at a fat quarter and wondering how many 2” squares you can get from it. It includes quick quilting reference guides for measuring diagonal blocks, side-setting and corner triangles, as well as half-square triangles and quarter-square triangle blocks. There are 16 charts and formulas. The regular price is $7.25, but the Nifty Notion price is just $4.95. this month.

This has become a favorite among our customers. Come to our Open House and see demos each day on fun gift ideas. (Demos will be shorter and closer together this year to make it more convenient.) Plus, we’ll have some other projects for the holidays laid out for your pleasure. We’ll have refreshments, and I might even start playing Christmas music for the first time! Watch the website, Facebook and blog for times of the demos.

Oh.My.Gosh  We have A LOT of fabrics right now! The retired guy was called into action a couple of weekends ago, when Harriet and Linda discovered a way to get us 5 or 6 new shelves for fabric. But, it cannot live here forever, so I’m going to hit some of the highlights in hope of piquing your interest enough to give some of it a new home! The new Laurel Burch group is here ~ horses this time and glorious as always! There are 3 new doll outfits for American Girl size dolls. The Fall groups are beautiful, and a new one has a fabulous kit for our Falling Leaves project. There are, as always, new batiks. Had hoped the new rayon batiks would be here by now, but alas, no luck in that department. There are a few new Kaffe Fassett prints here, with more on order. And speaking of *on order* the new Downton Abbey fabrics should be arriving this month! Mimosa is a new contemporary group in green, gray and turquoise. There are new flannels and more *wintry* ones coming any day. There’s also a new citron and gray grouping from Michael Miller fabrics. And we have Seahawks cotton and fleece! Kim Diehl’s Whatnots 1 has been super popular. It ends in February, with Whatnots 2 starting in March. Space once again is limited, so let us know right away if you are interested.

November….always a time to give thanks. I have so much to be thankful for in life. Sure, there are things that aren't so great in my life, as I’m sure there are in yours too. But, I can still see my glass as half full most of the time. I have a roof over my head; more than a few meals in the house; I have a wonderful family; and I have a wonderful *Fab-Etc family* as well; I get to come and be surrounded by fabric and creative folks every work day too. But right now, I’d like to take just a minute and let you know how truly blessed I am by your continued support of what we do here at Fabric-Etc.  And for that, I am, as always....

Sew thankful -
