Wow.....

Well, we made it through the Anniversary Sale!  It was a lot of fun to see so many of you.  Thanks again for all the continued support over the last nearly 17 years....I deeply appreciate it.

I managed to finish this tea cozy using a coordinate to the placemats I
showed you last week.  It's a Fabric-Etc pattern, so we have them if you're interested.  It's the same tea cozy we use every month at our Tea Party....works really great and keeps the tea super hot!  We sold a lot of the placemat panels during the sale, but I know there are still a few left, as well as some of the other coordinates.

Sew.....what did I do after the sale?  Well, I started a scrap project with Kansas Troubles fabric!  I don't *collect* a lot in the way of fabric.  My two favorites over the years have been Kansas Troubles fabrics and 30's prints.  As I was cutting 1 1/2" strips on Sunday, I sent Tracey a note (fellow KT lover) and confessed to possibly bordering on a KT hoarder.  But she quickly reassured me that it was not possible to have too much KT fabric.   Whew.....

Then, the retired guy and I went to Smokey Point Red Robin to meet our youngest son, daughter-in-law and two of our four adorable grandchildren for lunch.  FUN!  All the time realizing we all had to be home in time to monitor the Grammy Awards which started at 5:00 in Los Angeles.  Why?  Well, that handsome young man in the picture is our oldest son, Pete with his lovely Heidi.  Pete was an engineer on the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis album *Heist* that was up for Album of the Year along with a few other awards.  And while it did not win the top honor, it did win for Best Rap Album, which gave Pete his third Grammy!  We are so proud of all of our children....but Sunday night was Pete's turn!

Now?  I need to get cracking on my newsletter/calendar/bills/taxes/payroll.....okay, that's enough of that or I may need to find a paper bag to breathe into!  More fun from Fab-Etc soon.....
