Whose turn is it.....

Did you ever argue with a sibling or parent about whose turn it was to dry dishes?  I'm sure that NEVER happened in my house  =)

These are a couple of tea towel ideas from Linda and Alicia.  Alicia took some of the cute coffee prints we have and just turned under the edges on a couple of squares and stitched them onto some Birdseye cloth.  And Linda took some leftovers from those cute lobster placemats and added a little rick rack ~ voila ~ cute towels for the kitchen!

If you live in the Pacific Northwest, you've enjoyed a gorgeous Saturday today!  The sun was shining, the air crisp, but you could feel the promise of Spring.  The retired guy's daffodils are almost all in bloom and the tulips are showing up all over too....very nice!  Jan and I had a great time with customers today and even had to open the doors to let the sun in for a while.  Diane had the second session of her Beginning Quilting class today and the gals were whipping out their very first block in the little quilt they are making ~ looking good, ladies!  Sharon popped in this morning with a couple of great projects she's going to be teaching soon.  One will be a very fun sampler project that's going to be wonderful for learning some basic techniques.....this is super for anyone from a confident beginner right on up to experienced quilter.  Sharon has some wonderful tips to share with you....."sharin' with Sharon"!  WAtch the blog and website for more details.

THE QUILT is coming along.  Tracey will pick up her part to quilt on Monday.  I usually "blog the blocks", but the group decided that the earliest the quilts could be hung will be Sunday the 17th.  Sew....I might try and blog a few blocks at a time beginning then?  Quilt Tour is the 20th-23rd.  Have heard rumors about what some of the shops are doing.....it's going to be a good one!  Okay, have a few things to do before bedtime.  And don't forget...Spring ahead tonight ~ drives the retired guy nuts that I've already gone around and changed most of the clocks  =)
