Quilt Tour in progress......

Okay....we are half way through the 2013 Tri-County Quilt Tour "A Year in Quilts".  We're having A LOT of fun!  This first picture is of some of our shoppers enjoying the stack of $1.50 fat quarters on one of our Clearance tables.  The weather wasn't as nice here yesterday as it was today....it was pretty windy and rainy for part of the day.  We had put a rounder outside with some of our marked down fleece.  Well....the rounder is on casters.  Yup, you guessed it.  The office manager from the doctor's office poked her head in yesterday afternoon and let us know our fabric was about to hit the street!  The wind had caught it and it was headed for eastbound Birchwood Ave.  This second picture is to show you all what a pretty day it was here for most of the day.  No fabric trying to escape today.  =)

When I've had a chance, I've been sewing some more of my Urban Abacus blocks during the Tour.  The project has been growing on the design wall.  Maybe I'll get them all done and be able to sew them together next week?  After that. I'm starting on sewing the rows together on my wild striped hexagon quilt.  How has your week been sew far?  Any projects started?  Finished?  Well, I would be lying if I said I wasn't tired.  Going to do a little paperwork and then relax before hitting the hay tonight.  More from the Tour later in the week ~ okay?
